Who you are booking your activity with

When you book your activity, your agreement will be with Parkdean Resorts UK Limited (“Parkdean Resorts” “Parkdean Resorts”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

The Agreement

There will be a contract between you and Parkdean Resorts when your book your activity. This contract will begin when we send you confirmation by email that your activity has been booked. These terms are part of your contract with us.

The person making the booking accepts the contract on behalf of all members of your party and is responsible for making sure they accept the contract; and accepts financial responsibility for payment of the booking on behalf of all members of the party. We can’t accept bookings from anyone under the age of 18.

These terms are governed by English law and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the contract in the English courts. If you live in Scotland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the contract in either the Scottish or the English courts. If you live in Northern Ireland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the contract in either the Northern Irish or the English courts.

Separate agreements will be formed for your holiday and your activity. If you or us cancel your holiday, you must also cancel your activity booking. Failure to cancel your activity booking may result in you paying the full price of the activity booking.

Booking and payment

All prices are subject to change so could increase or decrease. The most up to date prices for activities are on our website. The price confirmed when you book is the final price and will not change unless you make any changes. Payment will be due at the time of booking.

Required disclaimer forms

Depending on the activity you pick, you may be required to complete a disclaimer to affirm you are fit and well to take part in the activity.

You must ensure that any activity booked for any member of your party is suitable for those who are taking part, any safety equipment provided or required is used and that instructions we give are followed.

If you need to make a change or cancel your activity

Once your activities are confirmed if you need to make any changes to your booked activities you can do so online by logging into manage my booking/my account Activities can be amended no later than two hours before the scheduled start time.

Paid activity bookings that are cancelled more than 2 hours before the activity was due to take place, will be refunded in full.

Activities that are cancelled less than 2 hours before the activity is due to take place, are non-refundable.

Cancellation by us

Very occasionally, we may have to cancel your activity, for reasons beyond our control. Should we cancel an activity or close a facility for which you have already paid we will refund all monies already paid for the relevant activity or try to reschedule the activity or provide a suitable alternative.

Weather

Activities that take place outside are provided subject to appropriate weather conditions prevailing at the time of the activity. We reserve the right to amend or cancel your booking if the weather makes it unsafe or unsuitable for the activity to go ahead.

Punctuality

When booking an activity, you will be given a timeslot when the activity will take place. It is important that you arrive 15 minutes before the activity start time or as requested in the activity description. If you and your party are late, you will not be able to take part in the activity and you will not be refunded.

Behaviour

You may not participate in any of our activities whilst under the influence of alcohol, illegal substances or legal medication which may induce drowsiness or could affect your reaction times.

Please ensure that you wear appropriate clothes and footwear for the activity.

We reserve the right to stop you from taking part in any activity if we in our absolute discretion believe that your behaviour is inappropriate or offensive to our staff or our other guests, or we have safety concerns.

Children

All children under the age of 8 must be supervised by parents or another responsible adult when taking part in the activity.

Age restrictions and health and safety requirements may apply for some activities. This are subject to change from time to time. Please check any requirements at the point of booking.

Accessibility

We aim to ensure that our services are as accessible as reasonably possible. If you or any of the participants want to take part in an activity have restricted mobility, a disability, medical or particular care requirements please contact the park directly prior to making your booking so we can discuss any need or requirements.

Feedback

We want you to enjoy your activity and create amazing memories, however, if you have an issue or want to talk about your experience, please tell us straight away by speaking to the activity manager. If you do not submit your feedback at the time of the activity, we may not uphold your complaint.

Keeping safe the information you have given us

The information you give us in connection with your activity is held by Parkdean Resorts (as a data controller) in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (as applicable). We use this information to help us to provide and improve our service to you and to provide you with information about our holidays and holiday homes. We may disclose this information to companies in the Parkdean Resorts group[*] and to our agents, contractors, insurers and insurance brokers and their advisers, and to others if we are legally required to do so, or where we believe it is necessary to protect our or another person’s rights, property or safety. Where you make an enquiry or purchase with us, we will process your data for marketing purposes. If you do not want us to send marketing information about our holidays or holiday homes please contact us using the telephone number or address below.

We use CCTV cameras at some locations at our holiday parks for crime prevention and safety reasons and telephone calls may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes. You should ensure other members in your party know about the information you provide and how we use it and agree to it.
