What are the best times of year to visit the Isle of Wight?

To avoid the hustle and bustle of peak season crowds, spring and autumn are both great times of the year to visit the Isle of Wight. Whilst some attractions may have limited visiting times during winter, many of these reopen around March and stay open until October or even November. Compared to other regions, the Isle of Wight still sees fairly warm temperatures in September and October with average highs of 19 and 16 degrees respectively.

As you would expect, summer is also a fantastic time to visit the Isle of Wight if you're hoping for some warmer weather to take advantage of the region's great beaches. Head to our local attractions page to find out more and start planning your holiday.
