I love southerness, I have been many times for a holiday, so we decided to upgrade our caravan to a Lochy this year, paid extra money, and were expecting a better caravan, and we were sorely disappointed, the caravan had not been cleaned properly, the carpet was disgusting, missing bedding, and poor bedding, kettle was full on limescale and the overall smell of the caravan was not nice, I had to purchase cleaning supplies to clean the caravan, I would definitely not pay again to upgrade, the overall park is lovely, but very poor upkeep of the caravans is letting the place down, not sure I would return, as we paid a lot of money and were very disappointed.

We had a fab weekend as an extra during the school holidays. Very happy with our weekend, was super for young kids. The setting is lovely on the beach. Not sure I would choose Southerness as our main holiday but would definitely return for a weekend break with the kids.
