The only drawback of the camp's location is that is located next door to an abattoir. My wife and I had to endure the noise of the terrified animals along with the foul stench from this slaughter-house every time we walked past it. This will probably stop us from returning to this camp in the future.

We visited using The Sun application format.
Reception staff were very courteous and efficient. The caravan we were allocated was in very good condition and very clean and the central heating was an advantage with the weather being 'cool'. Unfortunately, the location of the caravan, at the extreme south end of the resort, left a lot to be desired. The immediate roadway and the area for parking was not in good condition and the outlook, with piles of old concrete blocks and uncut grass, also unkempt empty caravan pitches, gave a very poor impression. However, when walking thro' the resort, we did notice that there were some areas in much better condition.
Apart from spending some £19 in the amusement area, and visiting the entertainment area for about 15 minutes, we didn't really use the facilities and thought the passes to be of poor value.
Overall, I'm afraid the resort was not up to the standard we have found at other Parkdean resorts that we have been to, or of your competitors. Sorry!

Staff excellent, efficient n friendly - well placed site to access the beach and visiting the sites and scenes of Scotland - good roads access.

Would have preferred roadways between the caravans cos had we had rain we would not have been able to drive to the caravan which is awkward as we are both walking stick users - indeed felt it wrong to drive over the grass which was cut short.

Despite the hard work of the staff to maintain the site it was a shame that people with children and dogs did not conform to the rules - we witnessed dogs roaming loose hence - not being cleaned up after - bags of rubbish left beside the caravans thus litter strewn around when blown down - there were bins everywhere - children given treats and dropping their litter - why are the parents not asking the children where the wrappers are on their return to their caravans.
