This is our second visit as we love the location right by the beach. Sadly we really felt the park needs some maintenance on this visit. One washing machine out of 4 was out if order.we found that our clothes came out of the supposedly working machine sopping so we couldn't get them dry for days. The tumble dryer did nothing to help as it seemed stuck on the cool cycle. This is no joke when trying to dry washing in a tiny caravan. We did mention this at the end date of our stay and I feel we should have been reimbursed the 7 quid we wasted in their laundrette. The rest of the park also looks a bit tired. We avoided the entertainment last time due to very noisy show bar which didn't suit our kids. This was fine by us.however this time we tried to have a quiet meal downstairs but the football was on so loud we couldn't have a conversation. This isn't very family friendly. Also seemed to be a bit of a lack of veg in the meals available! We would consider coming back as the kids loved the small swimming pool and being near the beach. Some upgrades needed to this park though!

Whitley Bay a nice holiday resort for a few days. Parkdene holiday park basic and no facilities for teenagers. No PROPER SIZED swimming pools or outdoor water features. Don’t take older kids over age 10!

The area is fantastic lots to see and do. It would have been nice if the caravans had a patio area to sit out on

Beautiful site. So much to do on and around the site itself. Can’t wait to go again.
