The park had not informed us that there was going to be NO entertainment during our stay and that the pool was to be open only 2 hrs a day and only in the mornings. Not impressed as no wifi available in caravan either and had been told this would be available at time of booking. Shop had food hygiene rating of 2 also!

Good afternoon Sarah,

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback regarding your stay at Thorness Bay.

Sorry there was no entertainment during your stay and the pool was only open at certain times of the day. Regarding the entertainment/facilities we operate laid back entertainment at this time of the year and apologise that you were not informed about this.

Please be assured that your comments have been passed to all relevant parties, including the General Manager of Thorness Bay Holiday Park. This feedback is invaluable to ensure we continually learn, evaluate and improve in order to create amazing memories for our customers and we hope you will visit us again so that we can demonstrate our usual high standards.

Hi D.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.

During out of peak season, we exercise a more relaxed entertainment programme. This is due to the park being quieter. We are sorry that this was not made clearer to you.

We do have other parks which operate a livelier entertainment programme during this time, please do not hesitate to give us a call and we can find a more appropriate park for you.

We are sorry for any disappointment caused.

Beautiful park, staff were very accommodating and professional, especially as it was the very end of the season. They treated us no differently than had it been peak season - definitely your biggest asset. Pool could be better

Just a bit gutted that the campsite was closing down for the season, no chip shop open , nothing for the children to do, swimming pool was open very little and very dirty! , ( which we were not told about when booking ) our caravan we stayed in felt very wobbly, when the children were playing inside.
No disabled access to the reception on arrival only steps!
