Discover Challaborough Bay Holiday Park

If a stroll along a sheltered award-winning beach sounds like heaven, then Challaborough Bay Holiday Park - set right on the bay - is the perfect location for you.

Challaborough Bay Beach holds a prestigious Blue Flag Award which marks it as one of the best beaches in the country. It offers unrivalled views of nearby Bigbury Beach and Burgh Island, which can be reached by sea tractor at high tide.

There’s plenty to see and do on-park and nearby. From surfing and paddle boarding to the adventure playground, Challaborough Bay Holiday Park has something for everyone. There’s even an indoor swimming pool where you can try your hand at scuba diving!

Away from the golden shores, walk along the South West Coastal Path or take a trip to popular Dartmoor Zoo for an exciting and educational family day out.

Our static caravans at Challaborough Bay are designed with you in mind. Many of our caravans are pet-friendly and we also have extra-wide and wheelchair-friendly models.

A cosy lodge or cottage in a serene spot, with views overlooking the bay, provides the perfect base to explore classic Devon.

Challaborough Bay was nice enough and the surrounding villages were pretty. The road in and out to the holiday park could be frustrating with limited passing places but not a major issue at the time we visited. In more busy periods I imagine it could be quite frustrating trying to get in and out, cars are ok to pass but delivery lorries means backing up quite a way. Park set in a nice valley with small stream running through park, holiday homes not as cramped as Google earth makes it look.
Nice beach at entrance to park with good waves for surfers. Nice walks to surrounding villages and pubs, the Journeys End Inn at Ringmore is well worth a visit for lunch as is the Pilchard Inn on Burgh Island. Both within walking distance from the park.
Very disappointed and disgusted by the amount of dog poo everywhere, lots of people had dogs and clearly some didn't bother picking up after them. Also some people used the bins located at the water front Inn to put the dog poo, very unpleasant for those sitting dinning outside. Worse bit about the park seeing dogs urinating and defecating at every turn.

Great for a cheap few nights away. Good facilities with it being on the beach front, pool arcade and soft play a great addition to the park.

A lovely place to stay,we had a wonderful time.
The only downside was the parking near our caravan,it was very limited space so trying park or leave parking area was difficult.
You have to do it in more than one manoeuvre, other than that can’t fault the place..
