Hi Craig,

A lot of our guests are return holidaymakers, who enjoy our parks time and time again, with each stay exceeding the expectations from the last.

It is disappointing to hear that we may not be welcoming you back to Challaborough Bay again in the future. We hope that you were able to speak with the team during your stay, to share any concerns or suggestions you may have.

We also have a central team, who are here to assist you after your stay. Please don't hesitate to contact us, so we can address any issues accordingly.

I visited Challaborough yearly whilst I was growing up - always a family tradition that we took our holiday here in the mid-late 90s/early 00s (back when it was a Haven caravan site)

We thought it would be lovely for all of our new families (my little boys/nieces and nephews) to get together and come back. The overall park hadn't changed and is very well looked after, however, regretably the same can't be said for Christie's, the evening entertainment, catering and staff service levels.

We were advised on many occasions in the restaurant the wait on food was 1.5hrs and on one evening had suspended service because of volume of orders (the restaurant was half empty!!). The takeaway pizzeria was closed throughout the whole week, we were advised this was due to staffing issues but it seems from TripAdvisor this has been the case since June.

The evening entertainment was incredibly poor, most evenings you just used the staff children's entertainers - where was the outsourced acts/magicians/comedians? I felt incredibly sorry for the staff as they were very clearly being overworked. I haven't seen Christie's so empty on an evening during peak season!

The entertainment for children is severely lacking, you have no daytime clubs and on the evening the same performance/songs are repeated by one member of staff.

I feel really let down by the whole experience and I'm genuinely upset that the park has been left in such a way. If you advertise "amazing evening entertainment" and onsite facilities (such as food), you should be keeping those standards and not letting people pay for, what ends up being, an overpriced caravan stay.

Parkdean need to invest time and money into fixing these issues else I'm sure returning and new visitors will begin to significantly drop.
