Lovely little getaway. The polzeath lodge we stayed in was great and so spacious. Great little outdoor area, but couldn’t use it much as the weather wasn’t great. But we used to pool which was nice and quiet, and the restaurant had good food. All in all a good stay. If I had to say one small thing, was the lodges just needed a good dusting as were a lot of cobwebs- but other than that small detail, would definitely come back again.

Lovely location. Attended the Royal Cornwall Show which is about 10 minutes by car. Peaceful park and ideal base to visit Rock (Padstow on the Ferry) Polzeath and the small villages on the coast. Bodmin and Wadebridge only about 30 minutes in car. Pub in St Minver is very nice and friendly. Good food in the resort restaurant, freshly cooked and ample portions. Drinks were a little expensive and the shop was convenient but some items expensive. Trehawk Lodge first class and couldn't fault it.

We really did have a fab holiday, staff and site were just great.
Jack the Trouper was absolutely outstanding.
Only things we thought that could be improved were swimming times, we felt the pool should be open longer each day and also £4 per wash and £1 per 20 minutes of using the dryer were excessive. With 2 small boys it was essential to do washing. I did just 2 loads and it cost me £16 to wash and dry! Other than that - we will be back next year but will be renting a lodge!
